Question 1

What counts as an in-room kitchen?

Accepted Answer

A private cooking space inside your room with a cooking surface. Some rooms also have an oven, a sink or a dishwasher.

Question 2

What doesn't count?

Accepted Answer

Rooms with only a microwave, coffee maker or fridge. Shared or communal guest kitchens. Kitchens in a lobby, a club lounge or another room.

Question 3

Kitchen vs. kitchenette: what's the difference here?

Accepted Answer

For us, none. Hotels label the same setup "kitchen," "kitchenette" or "efficiency" inconsistently, so we ignore the label and check what's actually in the room.

Question 4

Does every room you list have a kitchen?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We list only the rooms that have one. Rooms without a kitchen are left off the site entirely.

Question 5

Why are room names shorter than on the booking site?

Accepted Answer

We shorten and standardize room names so they're easy to compare. On the booking site, the same room may have a longer name.

Question 6

Are vacation rentals or apartments included?

Accepted Answer

No. We list hotels only.

Question 7

How do you verify kitchens?

Accepted Answer

A person and an AI model each review the room type's amenity data and photos against our standard: a cooking surface. Both must agree, and when the data and photos disagree we ask the hotel.

Question 8

How often do you re-check?

Accepted Answer

Our AI model rechecks every listing monthly. If anything changes, a person reviews the room again, and listings that no longer meet our standard are removed.

Question 9

Can details change between checks?

Accepted Answer

Occasionally. Hotels renovate or change room setups. When you book, make sure the room type matches the one listed here.

Question 10

I found an error. How do I report it?

Accepted Answer

Tell us through our contact page. We review every report.

Question 11

Why does a city page show a hotel in a nearby town?

Accepted Answer

Our city pages list the hotels travelers see when they search that city, so a page can include close-by options, such as Jersey City hotels on the Manhattan page. The hotel page always shows the real address.

Question 12

My city isn't listed. Will you add it?

Accepted Answer

We're adding cities one at a time. You can request a city through our contact page.

Question 13

Do you show prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Prices come from our booking partners and can change. The final rate is the one shown on the partner's site when you book.

Question 14

Do you take bookings?

Accepted Answer

No. We're a directory. You book through our partners, who handle payment, confirmation, changes and cancellations.

Question 15

Do you earn money from bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We may earn a commission when you book through our links, at no extra cost to you.
